Quota Warning

EB-2 India & EB-1 Warning

**EB-2 India** and **EB-5 Unreserved India** remain UNAVAILABLE for August 2026 as annual limits were reached. The State Department warns **EB-1 India** may also become unavailable before FY2026 ends on Sept 30.

Employment Advancements

EB-1 & EB-3 Movement

**EB-1 China** advanced to **July 1, 2023**. **EB-3 ROW & Mexico** moved forward to **September 1, 2024**, and **EB-3 China** reached **January 1, 2022**.

Family Categories

Steady Family Progress

Family-sponsored categories maintain gradual movement. **F2A Final Action** advanced to **July 22, 2026** for ROW, China, India, and Philippines, and **July 22, 2025** for Mexico.

August 2026 Bulletin Analysis & Fiscal Year End Outlook

The August 2026 Visa Bulletin reflects typical end-of-fiscal-year dynamics as statutory per-country and category caps are reached. High demand in **EB-2 India** and **EB-5 Unreserved India** keeps those categories at **Unavailable (U)** status for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2026, with quota resets scheduled for October 1, 2026.

Crucially, the Department of State has issued an explicit warning regarding **EB-1 India**, noting that rapid utilization could force the category into temporary unavailability before September 30. Prospective applicants with priority dates near the cut-off are urged to complete pending documentation promptly.

USCIS I-485 Adjustment of Status Note for August 2026:USCIS has officially determined that **Employment-Based** applicants must use the **Final Action Dates** chart (Chart A), while **Family-Sponsored** applicants must use the **Dates for Filing** chart (Chart B) for filing Form I-485 petitions.
